My main research topic is the biodiversity of agricultural lands. As part of my research I develop machine learning based methods to flying insects diversity using sticky traps images. Future research will examine the effect of different agricultural practices on biodiversity.
In my secondary research project I study the effect of flooding and desiccation on the community dynamic aquatic invertebrates in desert waterholes.
