Laura Brohm
PhD student
I am a PhD student from the Netherlands, supervised by Michal Segoli. With a diverse background in Human Geography (BSc) and Nature and Forest Conservation (MSc), I am passionate about finding nature-based solutions for agricultural challenges.
My research takes an interdisciplinary approach: I investigate the potential of implementing native wildflower plots in date plantations to attract (beneficial) insects and enhance biodiversity and biological pest control. Additionally, I conduct interviews with farmers in the southern Arava to identify the drivers and barriers to adopting sustainable agricultural measures.
