In collboration with Prof. Yael Lubin, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev
I work in a hyper-arid desert ecosystem (Evrona Nature Reserve) where I am investigating the effects of recent (2014) and past (1975) oil-spills on both the arthropod community and on some of the ecosystem functions provided by arthropods. My research interests include anthropogenic impacts on ecosystems, the relationship between ecological functions and biodiversity, conservation biological control strategies in agroecosystems, and predator behaviour and prey defenses of terrestrial arthropods.
